LEWISTON — Community Credit Union announces that Diane Dyer, vice president of lending, has received her certificate as a CUNA Certified Financial Counselor.

In receiving this certification, Dyer has completed a comprehensive training program designed to provide financial counseling skills that will allow her to better assist individuals in achieving their financial goals. This comprehensive program is divided into eight modules and covers topics,  including communication skills, controlling living expenses, understanding consumer credit, matching values to money, retirement, taxes, insurance, investments and more.

She is involved in many community projects in Lewiston and Auburn. She has completed three years of CUNA Lending School as well as other various credit union courses.

She lives in Wales.
