LIVERMORE FALLS — With Jay and Livermore reporting results on RSU 73 proposed $18.8 million budget late Tuesday, the budget was failing 524-594.

Livermore voters rejected the proposal by a 196-253 vote.

Jay residents also rejected the proposal in a vote of 328-341.

Livermore Falls had not reported results as of 11 p.m.

The proposed budget for 2012-13 is $410,527 more than this year’s spending plan.
