FARMINGTON — Babette Leigh (White) Burdin, 50, of Farmington, passed away June 9, at Orchard Park, with her family by her side.

She was born Dec. 23, 1961, the daughter of Helon and Annette (Small) White. Babby was a wonderful mother and a forgiving person. Her children were her greatest joy in life. She was always a hard worker and was working on her master’s in criminal justice, before her illness. Her friends and family who loved and admired her would describe her as a great inspirational success.

She is survived by her three children, James W. Burdin, Joseph P. Burdin and Julia M.E. Burdin; her companion, Paul Penney of Wilton; mother, Annette Spevak of Dryden; her three siblings, Darcia Duguay and her husband of North Anson, Paul White and his wife of Kingfield and Carla York and her companion of Industry; granddaughters, Eva Burdin and Alexis Hawkins; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father, Helon T. White; stepfather, John Spevak; and stepsister, Mary spevak.

We’ll always remember her warm inviting smile and whom welcomed everyone with open arms.
