This is a collaborative traffic safety and educational effort to educate travelers on both sides of the borders as to their responsibilities while visiting each country. This program also attempts to help travelers to understand the similarities and the differences in the traffic laws in Maine, New Hampshire and Canada.

The summer of 2012 Traffic Safety Without Borders Campaign will kick off on June 23, with participating agencies from Surete Du Quebec, Oxford County Sheriff’s Office, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, the Maine State Police Troops B and C, The Coos Sheriff’s Office and the New Hampshire State Police conducting patrols and traffic safety checkpoints across their jurisdictions.
