LISBON FALLS — The Lisbon Falls Christian Academy participated in the 2012 Northeast Regional Student Convention in Schroon Lake, N.Y. The school was awarded first place in academics (music/drama) and third-place honors in exhibits (photo/artwork). Jessica Newendyke, Jennifer Newendyke and Emma Gumprecht placed in the Communication and Potential Leadership Award.

More than 200 students from New York and New England competed in the areas of academics, music, platform, exhibits and athletics. Students were awarded individual medals for the first six places.
