AUBURN — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Marie Gagnon was celebrated Wednesday by the Rev. Robert Lupo and con-celebrated by the Rev. Fred Morse, who is brother-in-law to Marie’s niece, Cynthia Morse at Sacred Heart Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. During Mass, Marie’s niece, Cynthia Morse and husband, Michael helped drape Marie’s casket with a white burial cloth that represents Marie’s Baptism into spiritual life with God. Readings were presented by special friends, Torey Murphy and Cindi Halliday. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by special friends, Jared Murphy and Madeline Bissonnette. The delegation in attendance in honor of Marie was the Red Hat Society, where Marie had served as a loyal member. Following a procession to Gracelawn Memorial Park, Father Lupo and Father Morse recited committal prayers. Arrangements were by Dillingham & Son Memorial Chapel.
