A helicopter piloted by Jerry Douglass flies over the target at Martindale Country Club in Auburn during the 2nd Annual Arbor House Helicopter Ball Drop on Monday. The fundraiser is hosted by Central Maine Medical Center Associates Volunteer Program to benefit the hospital’s Arbor House. Arbor House provides housing for families of out-of-town patients. Winners of the ball drops closest to the pin were Kelvin Youland, $1,500, Anthony D’Andrea, $1,000, Kim Herschaft, $500. The event raised more than $8,500.
