It was opening day for the swimming pool and splash pad as scores of children turned out for some summer fun. The Lewiston Recreation Department also offers breakfast daily at 8:30 a.m. and lunch at 11 a.m. at the pool. The pool is open 1-6 p.m. Monday to Friday and noon to 5 p.m. weekends.
