Carpenters and painters are still busy at Lake Grove, Auburn, where many alterations are taking place this season. Although the people are visiting the grove these warm days, the season does not really open until next week. The first performance of 1912 will be Monday afternoon when Managers Gray and McDonough will present the “Alabama Troubadors,” appearing in the circuit of J.W. Gorman company. This act will be given through the week and then will probably follow a week of musical comedy. The stage and dressing rooms of the Lake Grove open-air theatre have been moved back toward the car tracks and additional seats, which will be reserved, have been installed on a natural slope. This gives a seating capacity of about 1,200.
