Think about your everyday life. Is it a hassle to use the restroom every single day? Well, it is at Lewiston Middle School.
Could you imagine not wanting to even walk into the only bathroom available when nature calls? That is what we do.
When you walk into the LMS restrooms, it is just appalling.
First of all, there is water everywhere. You immediately regret the decision of leaving the classroom already. Then you try to use the bathroom.
In the boys’ bathroom there are only a few stalls that actually have toilet seats. Also, when you try to flush the toilets, there is a button on the wall to flush. Easy enough, right? Wrong.
When you flush, water squirts out of the sides of the button and goes all over you. It is truly a revolting experience. And you cannot use your foot or anything, because it is a button. It is just terrible.
And then, you try to wash your hands but only two or three of the five or six faucets even work.
Can you imagine?
Just put yourself in our shoes . . . the young adults of LMS. We try our best to not even use the bathroom during the day.
The bathrooms at my school are just disgusting. I think that at least a quick fix-up of our bathrooms would definitely be in order.
