The Dream Factory is a volunteer nonprofit organization granting dreams to children diagnosed with critical and chronic illnesses, who are 3 through 18 years of age.
Nancy Lavallee of Lisbon is a volunteer with the Dream Factory who helped orchestrate the get-away. Limo services to and from the airport were donated by the Portland Limousine Service, who has partnered with the Dream Factory, and complimentary haircuts were donated by Jessica Walker of Hair-Art Salon in Lisbon.
This year the Dream Factory of Maine, Portland Chapter, will celebrate its 25th anniversary of making dreams a reality for children with a family reunion on Peaks Island in Portland in July.
Visit dreamfactoryincmep.org for more information or contact Lavallee at 353-5057.
