LEWISTON — Women, Work and Community will be offering a free, eight-week training course titled Creating Your Future in Lewiston.

It will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Mondays and Thursdays starting July 30 and ending Aug. 23 at USM-LAC in Lewiston. There will be an orientation on July 26 from 9 to 11 a.m. Class dates are July 30, Aug. 2, 6, 9, 13, 16, 20 and 23.

For those receiving unemployment insurance, this class has been preapproved by the UI Commission and exempts training participants from a job search during the class.
