RUMFORD — Dale B. Pellerin, 47, died Tuesday June 26, at his home as a result of a fire.
He was born in Rumford, Nov. 20, 1964, a son of Bernard and Joan (Watson) Pellerin. He was a graduate of Rumford High School, Class of 1983. He worked as a construction worker in the area and also was co-owner of Dick’s Restaurant in Mexico.
Dale was a member of Rumford Falls Aerie 1248, FOE. He enjoyed summers at China Lake, swimming, fishing, four-wheeling, bowling, playing cards, pool, football, NASCAR, going to Celtics games with his nephews.
He enjoyed putting together toys for his nieces and nephews at Christmas time. For the past two years, he has been his father’s caretaker. He was proud of the fact that he shared the same birthday with his niece, Tanya and nephew, Ryan.
Survivors include his father, Bernard of Rumford; his mother, Joan of Mexico; two sisters, Donna Reynolds and her companion, Brian Rancourt, of Waterville; her three children, John and his wife, Jess, and their two children, Hayley and Parker of Waterville; Nicholle and Jake Massey and their two children, Mackenzie and Addison of Arizona, Kyle Reynolds of Albion; Debbie Hamann and her husband, Don, of Mexico and their children, Ryan of Westbrook and Tanya and her husband, Jason McPherson, and their son, Sawyer, of Peru; a brother, Dan and his two sons, Daniel and Matthew of Leeds.
He was predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents; and his beloved dog of 13 years, Brandy.
