August marks the 75th anniversary of the Appalachian Trail, the longest hiking-only footpath in the world. We want to hear from Mainers who have hiked some or all of its 2,180-mile length from Georgia to Maine, about the characters they met along the trail, and their most memorable — scary, funny, poignant, wacky — experiences along the path.
