LISBON FALLS — A 25th anniversary celebration was held recently to honor Rick and Cindy (Samson) Roberts of Lisbon Falls. A surprise reception was held at the Lisbon Falls Baptist Church Family Life Center, with approximately 70 friends and family attending.

The couple was married on May 2, 1987, at Lisbon Falls Baptist Church. They are the proud parents of two grown sons, Joshua and Derek Roberts.

Pastor Jonathon Jones officiated, offering prayer for the festivities. A toast was given by Jack Samson, after which many of the guests offered their own testimonies involving their relationship with the couple. The cake, made by Elsie Samson, was ceremoniously cut and served to all.

The couple has spent many years working with the youth of the Lisbon Falls Baptist Church/Christian Academy and volunteering at Camp Good News every summer.

Mr. Roberts is employed as a loan officer at the Lisbon Community Federal Credit Union and Mrs. Roberts is employed by CMMC as a patient representative for Family Health Care Associates. In June the couple enjoyed a trip to North Carolina and South Carolina.
