LEWISTON — Fifty-two people from 23 countries are being sworn in as U.S. citizens in Maine.

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is holding Friday’s special Flag Day naturalization ceremony at Lewiston Middle School.

Those being sworn in live in towns across southern and central Maine and come from countries ranging from Argentina, Bulgaria and China to Iraq, Poland and Somalia.
