BERLIN, N.H. — Germaine Lea Dubois Boucher died on Monday, July 2.

She was 98 ½ years old and most recently was a resident of St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Home.

Germaine was born Dec. 1, 1913, in Berlin, N.H., the daughter of Joseph and Alice Dubois. She was one of nine daughters and she attended Berlin schools.

On April 23, 1934, she married Edward Boucher of Berlin. Together, their children included Richard, Gerard, Ronald, Pierrette, and Denise (Boucher) Marois of Poland Spring.

She was a homemaker for many years and later in her life worked for Granite State Rubber Co. as a stitcher for 18 years. She retired in 1977.
