LIVERMORE FALLS — A local woman faces a misdemeanor charge of hindering apprehension after she transported someone police were looking for, police said.

Angela Gancarz, 43, of Livermore Falls was given a summons on the charge at about 7 p.m. Wednesday by Lt. Thomas Gould after she refused to reveal the location of the person being sought, Livermore Falls Police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said.

The person was staying at her home, which is not illegal, but police believe she took the person to another location when she learned police were looking for that person and she won’t reveal where, Steward said.
