AUBURN — Rev. Dr. Kenneth P. Weldon will conduct the service and deliver the message at the annual Penley Corner Church All-Faith Service at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 8. All are welcome.

Weldon graduated from Florida Bible College in 1974 and Covington Theological Seminary in 1989 with a Doctorate in Ministry. Pastoring churches in Maine, Pennsylvania and Connecticut, Weldon retired in May 2011 after ministering with Village Missions for 35 years.

He has been active in hockey all his life as a player and coach, coaching at the University of New England in the early 1980s.

Ministering with Hockey Ministries International for more than 20 years, he has directed hockey camps in New England. Presently he is chaplain for the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League, farm team of the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League.

Weldon lives in New Gloucester with his wife and is the father of two adult children.
