It goes to show that Gov. Paul LePage does not think very efficiently because if you stop and think of all the accidents, fires and injuries that fireworks have already caused in different states (and even here in Maine), how much will it cost the taxpayers?

Injuries to people, buildings on fire . . . plus, stop and think about the safety of the firefighters. And has anyone figured out how much it costs for one firetruck when it leaves the station?

Someone is in for a surprise, and it will be the taxpayers.

LePage is helping the economy with his boosting of jobs selling fireworks? Wow, some help. The stores make money and pay a fraction in taxes for owning a store, while the taxpayers pay for all the damage done by those fireworks. Are we lucky or what?

The so-called boost to the economy bill that LePage signed should be repealed fast, before lives are lost.

People need to think about it.
