Wayne Werts, former fire chief for the city of Auburn, is running to represent Maine House District 70, which includes parts of Auburn and Lewiston.

After a divisive legislative session marked by a lack of compromise, Werts would bring an ability to get both sides to work together, having worked on both the labor and the administrative side for the city. He has been a public servant as well as a small business owner in the life safety field.

Having seen the impact on the city of decisions made in Augusta, and with strong leadership skills, Wayne Werts will work to effectively represent local concerns as a legislator.
