TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Gaye Phipps Lass, 58, of Carrabelle, Fla., passed away Saturday, June 23, in Tallahassee.

She was born Jan. 1, 1954, in Barrington, R.I., a daughter of the late Edward Joseph and Phyllis Phipps Lass. She attended the University of Southern Maine while a single mother of two children, graduating with a bachelor of science degree.

She was a pharmaceutical drug representative, retiring from Abbott Laboratories after 25 years.

Gaye had resided in the Tallahassee area since 1995, coming from Auburn. She was a volunteer with the American Red Cross and enjoyed cooking, sailing and skiing.

She is survived by a daughter, Shannon R. Wilson, Las Vegas, Nev.; and a son, Shawn E. Wilson, Waterbury, Conn.
