BOSTON — Raymond Joseph Cote, 71, of West Street, Bath, died Thursday, July 5, at Brigham & Women’s Hospital.

He enjoyed playing pool where he was state director of the Valley National Eight Ball Association for 21 years.

He is survived by his wife, Marilynne L. “Lynne” Griffin of Bath; one son, David Cote and his wife, Francee, of Tennessee, two stepsons, Ronald Griffin and his wife, Beth, of Georgia, and Bill Griffin and his wife, Shilo, of

Pennsylvania; two daughters, Denise Brown and her husband, Michael, of New Jersey, and Jeannine Clark and her husband, Rod, of Tennessee; one stepdaughter, Tammy Nicholson and her husband, Mark, of Lewiston; seven grandchildren, Hayly, R.J., Dakota, Ashley, Chayse, Ryan and Lucas.
