LEWISTON — Central Maine Christian Academy of 390 Main St. recently held an awards ceremony to present awards for the fourth quarter, as well as end of the year awards. The event opened with a special presentation of the State of Maine eighth grade citizenship award. This was given to eighth-grader Hannah Pullen by Sen. Margaret Craven and Rep. Peggy Rotundo for her character and academic achievements.
The following students received high honor certificates for the fourth quarter: Brandyn Hobbs, Dan Field, Katelyn McLeod, Gabbie St. Hilaire, Hannah Pullen, Sadye Ferguson, Sam McGray and AJ Jimenez.
Second honor students receiving awards were Courtney Fenderson, Zaqary Stiles, Garrett Glass, Seth Henson, Amy Jordan, Cassidy Saldana, Bennett Shaw, Adria DiDonato, Andrew Frechette, Grace Rosas-Bryant and Autumn Cloutier.
Following the reading of a congratulatory letter for academic achievement that was written by President Obama, Presidential awards for the year were presented. The following students received them for obtaining high honors all year: Gabbie St. Hilaire and AJ Jimenez. Students receiving the award for having a combination of high honors and second honors all year were: Brandyn Hobbs, Dan Field, Katelyn McLeod, Amy Jordan, Cassidy Saldana, Hannah Pullen, Bennet Shaw, Autumn Cloutier, Sadye Ferguson, Sam McGray and Andrew Frechette.
Perfect attendance awards for the fourth quarter were presented to Brandyn Hobbs, Cassidy Saldana, Katelyn McLeod, Alia DiDonato, Haylee Gagne, Gabbie St. Hilaire, Mariah Deschene, Hannah Pullen, Shea Marston, Kallie St. Hilaire, Sadye Ferguson, Maggie Ferland, Adria DiDonato, Autumn Cloutier, AJ Jimenez, Grace Rosas-Bryant, Danlen Espenscheid, Dylan Sanford, Allie Ferland, Lucas Frechette, Bobby Simond and Isaiah Smith.
All year perfect attendance awards went to Haylee Gagne, Autumn Cloutier, AJ Jimenez and Bobby Simond.
