AUBURN — Erland “Bing” F. Noyes, 67, of Auburn died Monday, July 9, at the Hospice House.
He was born in Lewiston, Nov. 8, 1944, the son of Francis E. and Harriet Greenleaf Noyes. He attended schools in Norway and graduated from Lewiston High School.
He faithfully served our country in the U.S. Army. He had been a car salesman, a manager at Forest City, a consultant for insurance companies and had worked at Pioneer Plastics, where he was on the medical emergency team.
He was a member of the DAV Commanders Club, a past officer of the New Auburn Social Club, of which he was still active and a member of the American Legion on South Main Street in New Auburn.
He is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Eckhardt and her husband, Cory, of Katy, Texas; two grandchildren, Alexandra and Chase; a brother, Hartley “Bud” Noyes of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; and sisters, Beverly Treadwell and Margaret Meserve.
