AUBURN — Aletha “Lee” Jacques passed away peacefully on July 9, in Auburn.

She was born March 1, 1929. She lived a wonderful life with friends and family in Lewiston. She was an avid bingo player, card shark and especially enjoyed her summer vacations in Old Orchard Beach.

She will be missed by so many for her trademark personality and quick wit, her amazing cooking skills and her compassion for others. She will never be forgotten by those who loved her.

She is survived by her brother, Harold Paine; her daughter, Donna Dionne, who tirelessly took care of her during her final months; her grandson, Joe Dionne, who she was so very proud of; her other grandchildren, Cheryl, John, David C. and David R. Jellison; and many friends who felt like family.

She was predeceased by her son, David Jellison.
