FARMINGTON — Frank and Jean Dingley recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with family at the couple’s home.

The couple was married June 15, 1952, at the United Methodist Church in Farmington. After briefly living in Augusta, the couple moved to Farmington where they have resided in their home on Maple Avenue.

Mr. Dingley was a school teacher and administrator at SAD9 for many years. Mrs. Dingley was a teacher in the Skowhegan school district.  Both have had a life-long interest in antiques. Besides operating their antique shop, they attended many antique shows, where they made many friends.

Mr. Dingley is a past president of the Maine Antique Dealers Association. Mrs. Dingley, along with her teaching career, has spent much of her time raising children and grandchildren, cooking for family gatherings and knitting.

Family members who celebrated the anniversary were sons, Peter and Jon, their wives, Lorraine and Laurel, and their families.
