Both Democrats and Republicans are offering the voters a solution to the nation’s problems that they created.

As always, lobbyists and special interests continue to offer money, gifts and promises. Sounds like a broken record. We have four months to deal with it.

Democracy should not be for sale to the politicians’ highest bidder. That includes the presidency. Very few succeed because Congress holds the power of the purse and is reluctant to give it up.

I wonder why so many citizens turn to government when it consistently fails to perform better than the private sector.

We need more “American-made” so we can get back to work.
