Mechanics Savings Bank has donated $2,000 to The Public Theatre. The contribution will be used to support performing arts educational programming, including: the student matinee program, young audience outreach initiative, and the young actor summer training program. Taken together, the three programs allow young people much greater access to Public Theatre’s professional theater offerings in Lewiston. Mechanics Savings Bank has provided more than $1 million in charitable giving to local causes over the past 10 years.
