Wayne Werts is a name worth remembering and voting for on Nov. 6.

An Auburn resident, he moved up the ranks as a firefighter to the position of fire chief, serving the citizens and the city of Auburn for 33 years. With that experience, as well as being a successful small business owner, Werts will be a great asset representing House District 70 (Auburn and part of Lewiston).

His proven abilities include developing budgets, negotiating labor contracts, and working with various levels of management, which will help find solutions that benefit all.

That is the kind of person we need in the Maine House of Representatives. That is why I say, in November, it will be worth remembering his name — Wayne Werts.
