PARIS — On Saturday, July 28, Celebration Barn will present local and guest artists from Baltimore and New York City in The Big Barn Family Show at 2 p.m. and The Big Barn Spectacular at 8 p.m.

Among those performing at the matinee for family audiences will be veteran physical comedian Mike Miclon and the Inflatable Theater Company’s Fred Garbo. “This 60-minute matinee will be fun and action-packed. It’s the perfect way to introduce young audience members to the theater,” Celebration Barn Executive Director Amanda Huotari said.

Besides Miclon and Garbo the evening show will feature musician D’yon Forest, described by Huotari as “New York City’s sassiest 77-year-old ukulele player;” Leland Faulkner, mime and master of shadow-illusion; the Nevaeh Dance Group; and others.

Audience members can bid on Celebration Barn’s silent auction, which closes after the evening performance. Proceeds from both shows and the auction will go to support Celebration Barn’s mission of creating and presenting original, world-class theater in western Maine.

Tickets are $10, all seats, for the matinee and $15, all seats, for the evening show. Call 743-8452. Doors open 30 minutes prior to curtain. Celebration Barn Theater is at 190 Stock Farm Road, off Route 117. For more information, visit www.CelebrationBarn.com.
