- Lt. Mark Boulet of the Auburn Fire Department checks the interior of a 2007 Jeep Compass that flipped after hitting rocks lining the connection road between Lamey-Wellehan and Kohl’s in Auburn on Wednesday morning. The owner of the vehicle was letting a friend drive, and was adjusting the watch she had just purchased and “didn’t see anything until it was too late.” The driver, Leigha Roberts, 37, of Lewiston was visibly shaken but refused medical treatment. Police said no injuries were reported. The sport utility vehicle was towed.
