LEWISTON — Marvin M. Evanisko, 65, of Ridge Road, Lisbon Falls, died Thursday, July 18, at Central Maine Medical Center surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with lymphoma.

He was born in Lewiston, Sept. 2, 1946, a son of the late Michael and Verda (McIntosh) Evanisko. He was educated in local schools and graduated from Lisbon High School, Class of 1964, where he played varsity baseball and football. After high school, he enjoyed playing baseball with the Roberts 88ers.

Marvin married the love of his life, Patricia McCormick, June 27, 1970. Together they had 42 wonderful and loving years together. He worked at the Worumbo Mill as a supervisor for many years, then went on to work for Pejepscot Paper and ended his career at the Gypsum Mill in Lisbon Falls. His work ethic was unmatched.

Marvin enjoyed sports, watching and attending Patriot’s games and training camp and fishing, gardening, camping, boating, traveling, and walking his dog, Molly. Marvin loved to read novels. His wonderful personality, quick wit, loving nature and humor will be missed. He was a people person and a role model.
