AUBURN — Nancy L. Merrill, 65, of Richmond Road, Litchfield, died Wednesday July 18, at The Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice.

She was born in Lewiston, Nov. 14, 1946, a daughter of the late Clayton and Beatrice (Michaud) Merrill. She was educated in local schools and graduated from Monmouth Academy. Nancy worked for many years as a teller for Androscoggin Bank.

Nancy was a member of the West Bowdoin Baptist Church and spent many hours volunteering for PALS, an organization that is dedicated to saving cats. She had a passion for animals and her cats held a special place in her heart.

Nancy leaves two sons, James D. Hall Jr. and his wife, Lisa, of Scarborough and Mark C. Hall and his wife, Tammy, of Mount Vernon; and a large family including a special cousin, Clarence “Sonny” Danforth of Litchfield; and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother, Roland.
