TURNER — SAD 52 Adult & Community Education, 486 Turner Center Road, will offer the following courses and camps, some of which will start July 30.

Hoop it Up: Campers have fun while exercising and get a chance to check out the hooping craze. They even decorate their hoops while learning basic hooping skills. This is a week-long class for ages 10-13.

Children’s Yoga Adventure Camp: Students 5-10 practice fun yoga postures, creative movement and yoga games. Daily lessons will be reinforced as campers create crafts that reflect Yamas (good behaviors to embrace) and Niyamas (behaviors or actions to avoid).

Mixing it up Art: Campers 8-12 will experiment with a variety of materials to create mixed media art pieces. Collage, drawing, painting and printmaking techniques will be explored. Also learn how to do photo transfers from magazines, digital photos and newspapers.

Math Mania: Math is fun. Learn to establish the probability of playing certain games, make math art and use origami to learn about geometric shapes, along with many other fun activities. For ages 8-12.
