Lobster roll supper July 27

DIXFIELD — On Friday, July 27, The Dixfield Congregational Church will hold a lobster roll supper from 5 p.m. until sold out.

The menu will be 100 percent lobster meat roll, potato salad, cole slaw, dessert and beverage for $8. Children under 12 will be charged $4 for a half serving. Also available will be chicken salad roll meals for $6.50.

Outlanders theme dinner

RUMFORD — The Outlanders will hold their second “Theme Dinner” Friday, July 27, at Region 9 School of Applied Technology’s cafeteria.

The event is a celebration of world athletes through international cuisine. Social time will be from 5 to 5:30 p.m. with dinner served at 5:30. Cost is $10 per plate for adult and $5 for children under 12.

The Outlanders is a collaborative group between University College at Rumford/ Mexico and Region 9 School of Applied Technology’s Adult Education. This group offers community service opportunities to the students, staff and families of each of the institutions.

Mexico High Class of 1949

RUMFORD — The Mexico High School Class of 1949 will meet for lunch at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, at Dick’s Restaurant. Members and guests are invited.
