LEWISTON — Pauline C. Gagnon, 80, a resident of Tarr Avenue, passed away unexpectedly early Tuesday, July 24, at her residence.

She was born in Lewiston, Jan. 21, 1932, the daughter of Arthur and Alma (Gagnon) Cote. She was educated in Lewiston schools, graduating from St. Dom’s High School in 1950.

Pauline married Donald A. Gagnon on Nov. 24, 1988. She worked in Lewiston for many years, retiring from d’Youville Pavilion in 1994. She was a member of Holy Cross Church, AARP, Horizons 55 and Covenant 50.

Survivors include her husband, Donald; her sister-in-law, Jeanne Cote; her niece, Denise Cote; a great-nephew, Scott Cote; a great-niece, Angela Tornblom and husband, Jason; two brothers-in-law, Ray Gagnon and wife, Betty and Gerry Gagnon and wife, Doris; one sister-in-law, Lorraine Gosselin; two nephews, Jeffrey Gagnon and wife, Wendy and Pete Gagnon and wife, Liz; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends; and her very good friend, Rose McCloskey.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her twin brother, Paul A. Cote; and her nephew, Daniel P. Cote.
