LETTER D TOWNSHIP — Franklin County deputies are investigating the theft of $4,000 worth of items taken from a boat on Long Pond.
Deputy Sandy Burke is handling case, which involves the theft of a Honda electric-start outboard motor, a battery, gas tank, three life vests and a stainless steel toolbox, Lt. Niles Yeaton said Wednesday.
Other boats are kept in the area but nothing appeared to be missing from them, he said.
Items were reported stolen Friday.
