LEWISTON — A man who apparently was stabbed during a fight on Lisbon Street was being treated for cuts early Friday.

At about 11 p.m., police were sent to the area of the Getty Mart at 515 Lisbon St., where a small group of people were said to be fighting. When police arrived, the combatants were scattering. One man had been cut on his arm and police said he may have been stabbed during the fracas.

By midnight, police were questioning witnesses and potential suspects. Investigators said the people who were fighting knew each other, but it wasn’t immediately clear what prompted the scrap.

The victim’s wounds were said to be minor.
