LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens are planning the following trips, which are open to everyone.
On Thursday, Aug. 23, the group will visit the Ogunquit Playhouse to see Dolly Parton’s musical, “9 to 5.” For more information about this trip, call the LSC office at 513-3059 or come into the office from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave.
Oct. 25 will be a fall foliage and wine tasting tour, visiting two wineries through Union, Rockport and Lincolnville. There will be a late lunch at The Lobster Pound in Lincolnville. The price for the trip is $45 per person due upon signing. Deadline is Sept. 11.
Lancaster show and the Dutch Country trip will take place Nov. 27-30. The trip includes three nights lodging, six meals, “Jonah” show at the Sight & Sound Millennium Theater, guided tour of Lancaster and the Amish Country and more. Price is $375 per person based on double occupancy. A deposit of $75 is due by Aug. 20. Final payment is due on Sept. 21.
A trip to Pigeon Forge and Smoky Mountains will take place May 18-26. Trip includes eight nights lodging, 14 meals, a guided tour of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, four evening shows and two morning shows, free time in historic Gatlinburg and more. Price is $745 per person based on double occupancy. A deposit of $75 is due upon signing. Final payment is due March 6.
