The nation faces many problems.

I wonder why abortions are allowed while foreign babies are adopted and immigrants fill existing jobs?

People lament the high cost of health care, yet minors are given contraceptives so they can indulge in sex. Yet that brings on a host of ailments and does not prevent sexually transmitted diseases or AIDS. Condoms are not safe, either.

Why get a college education? Employers say they do not have experience. Get a master’s degree and employers say you are over-qualified. To those who are 55 and over or handicapped — employers won’t hire because they are an insurance risk.

Single people who need temporary financial assistance due to illness or surgery do not qualify if they are not an unwed mother, divorced, nor widowed with children, nor yet 65 years old or more.

Those who are married and have catastrophic ailments are told they cannot get aid unless they are divorced. Some do that just to be able to get aid, since they cannot survive otherwise.

Who is going to help solve these problems? Will Barack Obama or Mitt Romney? Far better for them to think about it instead of cutting help to the poor and needy. How about them cutting out their raises, bonuses, perks to help balance the budget?
