LEWISTON — A funeral Mass honoring the life of Pauline C. Gagnon was celebrated on Friday at Holy Cross Church following prayers at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home. The Rev. Aaron Damboise celebrated the Mass. At the beginning of the Mass, the Pall which commemorated Pauline’s Baptism into new life was placed on her casket by Pauline’s niece, Denise Cote and her good friend, Rose McCloskey. The first reading was read by Pauline Pierr and the prayer of the faithful was read by Sue Laliberte. The offertory was brought to the altar by Denise Cote and her great-niece, Angela Tornblom. Following the Mass, the Rev. Damboise recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
