AUBURN — Donald A. Dubois, 69, of Canton, passed away at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice Services on Thursday, July 26.
Born in Lewiston, on Aug. 2, 1942, he was the son of Alphe and Agnes Levesque Dubois. Educated in local schools, he served in the Coast Guard Reserve and worked for many years constructing high-tension power lines all over the United States. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and scuba diving. He also loved hockey and boxing and was a talented drummer.
A member of Holy Family Church, Prince of Peace Parish, he is survived by his mother, Agnes Dubois of Auburn; two sons, Scott Dubois of Scotland and Darcy Dubois of Lewiston; a brother, Fern Dubois and family of Charlotte, N.C.; a sister, Dorothy Walker and family of Lewiston; and a grandson, Josh Longtin.
