WALES — Michael J. Turcotte, 66, of Wales died Thursday, July 26, at his residence, with his family by his side, following a long illness.
He was born in Lewiston, on Jan. 1, 1946, the son of the late Alfred J. Jr. and Mary Swindell Turcotte. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served as a private E1 in the Vietnam War. He was employed as a quality control manager in the chemical engineer industry.
Michael’s greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by one son, Scott Turcotte of Wales; two daughters Jennifer Drumm and her husband, Michael of Concord, N.H., and Kimberly Black and her husband, Jeremy Gaydos of Telford, Pa.; three grandchildren, Timothy Douglas Drumm, Andrew Michael Drumm and Jaden William Gaydos.
He was predeceased by a son, Douglas Turcotte; and by a brother, John Turcotte.
