SOUTH PARIS — Arlene Z. Maxim, 78, of Norway, passed away Monday, July 30, at Market Square Health Care Center.

She was born in Buckfield, March 20, 1934, daughter of Prince H. and Ethel L. (Bumpus) Cash.

She married Richard Maxim on Nov. 27, 1954, who passed away Dec. 30, 2010.

Arlene was a seamstress and did a lot for other people. When she wasn’t sewing she was crocheting and creating lots of animals.

She is survived by her sisters, Virginia Chesley of Oxford and Sandra Page of Sumner; brother, Robert Cash of Virginia; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Richard.
