ANDOVER — Ellis River Riders will hold two horse shows this weekend in conjunction with Andover Old Home Days.

After enjoying the parade and festivities on Saturday, Aug. 4, visit the Ellis River Riders on Airport Road for a fun and inexpensive family event. There will be a game show starting at 3 p.m. for young beginner riders. At 6 p.m. the youths and adults will compete in barrel racing and pole bending events.

It is exciting to watch and free to spectators with ample bleacher seating and free parking. The food booth will be open for supper with a varied menu at reasonable prices.

On Sunday there will be an open show, both English and Western. This begins at 9 a.m. and features halter classes, pleasure, equitation and trail classes for all ages and abilities. The food booth will be open on Sunday for both breakfast and lunch.
