LEWISTON — William H. Chadburn of Greene, passed away July 29, at Central Maine Medical Center in the loving care of many nurses and doctors, after a long courageous battle with lung cancer.

He was the son of Harry and loving mother, Winette Chadburn. He had multiple siblings and nieces and nephews. His children were, Bill, Tobey, Sheri, Hillary and Sonya and stepchild, Natalie; and multiple grandchildren.

He served on the USS Kankakee during the Cuban Crisis and drove tractor trailers for Gray’s, Perkins, Wayne Scott and Crafts and was also self-employed. His CB handle was “Wandering Gypsy.”

His many supportive people included Gloria Chadburn, sister; Ronald Johnson and Robert Chute, best friends; and Scotty Burgess and his daughter, Sheri Chadburn.
