FARMINGTON — Maine Centers for Women, Work and Community is offering a free, five-week class, “Career Planning: Finding Your Place in Today’s Job Market,” at its Farmington center, 108 Perham St., Suite A, on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., beginning Aug. 14 and continuing on Aug. 21, 28 and Sept. 4 and 11.

Those attending will review their skills, interests and experiences and relate them to occupations; identify educational opportunities; research the local job market; and develop a step-by-step plan to achieve their goals. The classes would be helpful for those who are unemployed, underemployed or considering a career change.
