AUBURN — Dorothy “Nana” Teehan, 68, of Auburn, passed away Saturday, Aug. 4, at home, with her family by her side.

She was born in Portland on May 20, 1944, the daughter of the late Harvey and Elsie Richards Driscoll.

On Aug. 14, 1962, she married James F. Teehan, who survives her. She worked as a medical assistant at St. Mary’s Diabetes Center. She enjoyed gardening, baking and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of many years, James F. Teehan Sr.; six children, Barbara Wiencek and husband, Tom, Donna McRae and husband, Jon, Jim Teehan and wife, Kim, Steve Teehan and girlfriend, Sheri Johnson, Danielle Sheehan and Denise Kopenga and husband, Dewey; 10 grandchildren, Alexandria, Ashley, Avery, Taylor, Alex, Mikayla, Mikenzie, Shelbi, Gavan and Harley; and her sister, Shirley Harwood.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Johnny; and a sister, Donna.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Laurie Small and team at Maine Medical Center Gibson Unit and Androscoggin Hospice for the wonderful care given to our mom.
