I thank state Sen. Garrett Mason for standing up for Maine’s working class. As things get more and more expensive, he made one very important thing cheaper for everyone — health insurance.

With the passage of the new Maine health care reform, Sen. Mason and the Legislature were able to clear the way for premium decreases for everyday Mainers. Statewide, Mainers will now have a little more money in their pockets for other expenses.

It is good to know that Sen. Mason is working for us in Augusta. We need more politicians who will stand up and fight for working people to keep more of their hard-earned money.

We need to send Sen. Garrett Mason back to the State House for another term.
